When last we stopped by North Beach, rock and boulders stretched from one end of the long parking lot to the other. Heavy equipment was deployed on the shore and in shallow water. With the wind subsiding for a day or so it was perfect timing for a North Beach update. I was anxious to get my little drone up and take a peek at our beach and the houses to the north.
The heavy equipment is still engaged in the battle to fortify the houses to the north. A tremendous amount of rock has been placed, with the work continuing.
The park beach looks little changed. A huge bite taken, leaving behind a sand cliff. How much beach will be lost by the time summer arrives?
