Again with the view from our patio. The pond is almost completely frozen over, except for a tiny circle. During late October every fountain in the area went silent, one by one, except this one and the larger fountain on the main pond by our clubhouse.
This new type of fountain pump is completely “all-weather”. It can freeze solid without any harm. So it chugs on. Slower, not as high, but still streaming. They are claiming the coldest temperatures in 25 years are soon to descend on Western Michigan. The little fountain’s days may be numbered… until spring thaw.
