I have been itching to get my drone up in the sky again, but it has been cold, windy, miserable for days. More importantly, my wife was gifted the 14 day virus I struggled thru a few weeks ago. Today was my first opportunity. A quick up and down from North Beach. Actually had planned to do more, but the cold attacked my fingers, so yes… a quick up a couple hundred feet and down.
Off to the south is the lighthouse of Grand Haven State Park on the right, and the coal fired power plant on the left. That plant is due to be permanently closed this coming summer. Other arrangements will have to be made to keep the streets of downtown Grand Haven snow free next winter.

To the north, extensive work continues, laying down boulders, rocks, and moving sand to protect the houses. I’d love to know that price tag!
