With the winds subsided, I finally put my new DJI Mavic mini in the air to look at North Beach and the damage done. High water levels and strong winds have taken a huge bite out of the beach. Gentler drop to the water no more.
Home owners to the immediate north are fighting with boulders and rock. The home owner to the south appears to be doing fine with their pre existing defense.
Video appears at the bottom of this post. Yes, not a smooth cinematic experience… only my second flight. I am so enjoying this drone! It will be great for photos and videos under better circumstances
