With the Chiefs playing Sunday night football, today was the perfect chance to sit by the TV and scan all the afternoon NFL games. But not in Michigan. Instead, we got out and enjoyed another beautiful 65 degree afternoon.
Lunch at the brewhouse, then off to the windy beach. The catwalk is fully installed and lit at night. We’ll have to come down and take pictures of the illuminated pier. (But not tonight… Chiefs game). The kite surfers have yet to don gloves and face masks. The water temperature is still 66 degrees… warm enough even for some hardy swimmers to enter the water. Winter is getting closer. But not today.
Then we road tripped the countryside to an apple orchard. A bushel of apples later we were heading back home to make and freeze special chunky, cinnamon, brown sugar applesauce for the winter.
Not exciting, but another fun day in our paradise.
