Water only for 48 hours. The plan was 72 hours, but was feeling the effect… sore muscles, light headed. So I had some lemon in water, then slowly ate a salad. Nothing more today, probably only that romaine lettuce again tomorrow. Food had become too much of a pleasure. So much food, so many great restaurants. We found ourselves eating out at least once a day. On the way to the beach, or coming back. And now, a wedding in September. I have to fit into a suit. That, and the need to take control of one major item that has thus far eluded me after leaving work stress behind… rebuilding good health.
So water. Lots and lots of water.
And of course the limitless Michigan unsalted water. Last night’s sunset over that water.
This morning… fog, fog, fog. Yet a beautiful day. Seventy degrees and the water temp slowly rising.
The insect patrol was out in full force. With their homes right on the dune, I wonder how far they have to travel inland normally for food. We just don’t see any flying inspects. Our beaches stay bug free… unless the wind blows in from the east.
