Opposites
What is the opposite of love? Yes, you might believe that the opposite of love is not hate… but instead, it is indifference.
So, what is the opposite of growth?
What is the opposite of success?
What is the opposite of happiness?
Going with the love example, perhaps the opposites are really complacency?
The complacency of being just comfortable enough with the way things are to stay in a state of inertia. Losing the will to risk… to seek rapid growth, success, happiness. The enemy then is not little deaths, failure, sadness. It is complacency. Being satisfied with good enough. Playing things out. Not making changes. Not risking anything to get better. Until we wake up one day and realize we are miserable. Life is passing us by.
