Last night my daughter posted Snapchat videos from the Muskegon Michigan winter sports complex. She was having great fun ice skating among the trees. Two acres of ice skating… hockey rink, speed skating, family rink, and a 1/4 mile ice skating trail. Add cross-country skiing and snowshoeing thru the dunes and you have a great place to spend the day… or evening… yes, lighted skating trail.
The really intriguing attraction is the luge! Open to the public.
I watched the Luge 101 video below and realized every natural inclination I would have going down the track would be very wrong. That, and I don’t see how I could fit on one of those tiny sleds. Perhaps I can talk my wife into doing it?
